# Dubai Court contact number, email and customer care: how to reach Dubai Courts

The quickest way to reach Dubai Courts is through its own channels: the Dubai Court contact number and toll free call center, its email, the live chat on its website, and its customer happiness centres. This page lists each official channel with the link to the court's own site, tells you which one suits which question, and what to have in your hand before you call.

This is a guide written by NotaryPublicInDubai.com, a private notary services company in Business Bay. Dubai Courts' channels are below, taken from and linked to the Dubai Courts website. Our own number appears only at the bottom of the page, for the documents we prepare.

## Dubai Courts official channels

Always take a number from the Dubai Courts website itself, at www.dc.gov.ae, before you call. Numbers copied onto other websites go out of date, and a number on a directory page may belong to a private business rather than the court.

Dubai Courts' notary service page in 2023 listed its service centres at Wafi Mall, the Traffic Department in Al Barsha, Al Barsha Mall, Hatta Centre and Al Yalayis. Check the current list before you travel. Our [guide to the Dubai Courts notary at Wafi Mall](https://notarypublicindubai.com/2025/08/23/public-notary-wafi-mall/) covers what to prepare for a notary visit.

Step by step

## Which channel for which question

Most calls to the Dubai court customer care number are one of five things. Picking the right channel first saves a transfer.

![Man listening on a phone call](https://notarypublicindubai.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/dubai-courts_contact-inline1.webp)

### A case you are already part of.

Have the case number ready; questions about the stage of a case go to the court's own channels. For advice on what to do in the case, speak to your lawyer; the court's customer service does not give legal advice.

### A power of attorney or other notary matter.

Ask for the notary public service, or use the notary section of the website. Our [Dubai Courts notary guide](https://notarypublicindubai.com/dubai-courts/) explains the process step by step before you call.

### Payments and fees.

Have the transaction or case number and the amount shown on your notice. Email lets you attach a screenshot of the notice, which avoids reading long numbers aloud.

### Personal status (family) matters.

People search for a personal status court Dubai contact number; in practice the same Dubai Courts channels route you to the personal status court.

### A complaint or feedback about a service centre.

Use the feedback or complaints channel on the Dubai Courts website rather than the general helpline. Reviews of Dubai Courts service centres on map apps are written by the public and are not a way to reach the court.

## Before you call the Dubai Court call center

Have these in front of you, written down:

* Your case number, application number or transaction number, exactly as on the court's notice or SMS.
* Your Emirates ID number, or passport number if you are not a resident.
* The name of the other party, if it is a case.
* The date and centre of any earlier visit.
* A pen. You will be given reference numbers you need later.

If the call is about a document, such as a POA or a translated court filing, have the document open with its reference number visible.

Watch for

## When the phone lines are busy

If you cannot get through on the Dubai Court toll free number:

* Try the live chat or the email address, which let you attach a screenshot.
* Use the Dubai Courts app for case status, if you have it installed.
* Visit a customer happiness centre if the matter needs a signature or original papers.

If the Dubai Courts website is down, try again later from a different browser or device, and use the app or the call center in the meantime. Do not pay a site that claims to "fix" a court matter because the official site is not loading.

Your options

## Is it Dubai Courts you need?

Several courts work in and around Dubai, and each has its own contact details. Calling the wrong one is the most common reason people are told to "call another number".

A

**Dubai Courts** handles cases and notary services for the Emirate of Dubai onshore, including the personal status, civil, labour and criminal courts, and the Dubai Courts notary public.

B

**DIFC Courts** is a separate court for matters inside the Dubai International Financial Centre, with its own registry and its own notary service. Its contact details are on the DIFC Courts website, not on the Dubai Courts one.

C

**Abu Dhabi** has its own judicial department, and the emirates that follow the federal system use Ministry of Justice courts and notaries.

If your contract, tenancy or employer sits inside the DIFC, check whether your matter belongs to DIFC Courts before you call.

## Calling from outside the UAE

UAE toll free numbers usually cannot be dialled from abroad. If you are overseas, use the email address or the live chat, or the international number if Dubai Courts publishes one. Write your case number in the first line of your email, and give a phone number with its country code. If a relative in the UAE can call for you, they will need your case number and your Emirates ID or passport number, but they cannot act in the case for you without a power of attorney that gives them that act.

## Dubai Courts customer service: what it can and cannot do

The court's customer service explains procedures, tells you the status of your application or case, and points you to the right department. It does not advise you on the merits of your case, draft your documents or represent you. For those you need a lawyer, and for a document that goes before the notary you need it prepared correctly before you go.

## Need a document for your court matter?

That is the work we do. NotaryPublicInDubai.com prepares the documents people take to the Dubai Courts notary or file in a court matter:

a [power of attorney for a court case](https://notarypublicindubai.com/power-of-attorney/court-case/), so a lawyer or relative can act for you;

an [Arabic legal translation](https://notarypublicindubai.com/dubai-courts/legal-translation/) of a document the court needs;

declarations, NOCs and affidavits for family matters.

Call or WhatsApp us on +971 52 947 5935 or email support@notarypublicindubai.com about these services. This is our business line, not a Dubai Courts helpline, and we have no access to your court file. We are available 24/7, in person at our Business Bay office, online or at a home visit.

Questions

## Questions about contacting Dubai Courts

### What is the Dubai Courts contact number?

Dubai Courts publishes its official contact number and toll free number on its website, www.dc.gov.ae. Take it from there, not from a directory site. The Dubai court helpline number is listed in the same place.

### Is there a Dubai court email address for customer service?

Dubai Courts lists its email contact on its website. Email is useful when you need to send a case or transaction number with a screenshot.

### Does Dubai Courts have live chat?

Where Dubai Courts offers live chat, it sits on the official website or app. Use it for short questions; send documents by email.

### Is there a customer happiness center I can visit?

Yes. Dubai Courts runs service centres for in person services, including the notary; the 2023 list is in the table section above. Check the current list and hours on the court's website before you go.

### Can the Dubai court helpline tell me what to do in my case?

It can tell you the status and the procedure, not the legal strategy. For advice on your case, speak to a lawyer licensed to appear before Dubai Courts.

### Can I call NotaryPublicInDubai.com about my court case?

Only about a document you need: a POA, a translation, a declaration. We cannot check your case or speak to the court for you.
