Prices and fees # Power of attorney cost in Dubai: special POA price, line by line The special power of attorney Dubai price has two parts: the government fee for notarising the POA, set by law and paid at cost, and our service price for drafting, Arabic and notarisation. Together they make up the power of attorney cost in Dubai. The government part is small. The service part depends on the work the document needs. Our service price for a POA: from AED 1,500. ## The two lines on every POA bill ### Line 1: the government fee. This is charged for the notary act, per party to the POA. Nobody can discount it, and nobody should mark it up. When you compare the cost of making a power of attorney between providers, set this line aside first. It is the same for everyone on the same route. ### Line 2: the service price. This covers the list of powers, checking names against ID, the Arabic by a legal translator registered with the Ministry of Justice, and the notarisation. Our service from AED 1,500, plus AED 100 for one party. ### Two spouses, one special POA for a court case, private notary on the federal schedule. Our service from AED 1,500, plus AED 130 for each of the two parties. ### One principal, general POA going abroad. Our service from AED 1,500, plus AED 100, plus the AED 2,000 MOFAIC fee, because MOFAIC lists a general POA as a commercial document. Add AED 50 per page if a translation is notarised with the instrument. In short ## Special versus general: does the price change? No. Item 9 covers "the general or special power of attorney" at the same AED 100 per party. A special POA names each act, which a court case, sale or car transfer needs (Federal Decree-Law No. 25 of 2025, Article 870). A POA in general terms covers acts of management only (Article 871). Your options ## The cheapest power of attorney A **Use the Ministry of Justice digital POA service** if your POA is one of the types it issues. It issues a digitally ratified POA without a visit to a notary office. B ### Ask for a POA only as wide as the task. Fewer powers means less drafting and less risk. Watch for ## What changes the price * The number of parties signing and the number of pages to translate. * Whether the principal is abroad and needs an online session, a consul or foreign attestation. * Whether the POA goes abroad and needs MOFAIC attestation. * How many powers it holds: one car is simpler than a court case, a property and a bank account together. When you see a power of attorney price online, check what it includes. Some quotes include the government fee, some do not, and some add courier and urgent charges later. Ask every provider for the two lines separately. If a site calls its service price an "official fee", treat that as a warning. The government fee is AED 100 per party on the federal schedule, or AED 130 through a private notary on it.
