IVS Global Dubai Power of Attorney: What the Document Must Say
Under Federal Decree-Law No. 25 of 2025, an agency in general terms gives the agent only acts of management (Article 871(1)). Any act that is not management and preservation needs a special agency that names the act. Sale, mortgage and pleading before a court are listed in Article 870(1).
So a request to sell, transfer or register something needs a special power of attorney. A short, general wording will not do.
